Lutz Kummer

Lutz Kummer has a diverse range of work experience spanning several years. Lutz'smost recent role is as the R&D Managing Director at Molecule AG, a position they have held since June 2023. Prior to this, they were the Head of R&D at the same company from May 2022 to May 2023. Lutz also served as the Research and Evaluation Director at Molecule AG from January 2022 to April 2022.

Before joining Molecule AG, Lutz co-founded InCephalo in 2021 and held the position of VP Development and Operations there until December 2021.

Lutz also worked at PwC Switzerland as the Health Industries Driver Europe and Switzerland from November 2019 to December 2020. In 2019, they served as a Visiting Fellow at Nextech Invest from March to August.

Earlier in their career, Lutz was an Associate Director of Research Development at Sosei Heptares from December 2016 to February 2019. Lutz co-founded and served as the Chief Scientific Officer at G7 Therapeutics AG from June 2013 to November 2016, before it was sold and renamed.

Lutz began their professional journey as a Research Associate at the University of Zurich from June 2012 to May 2013.

Lutz Kummer began their education by attending the Technische Universität Braunschweig from 2001 to 2006. During this period, they completed their Diploma in Biotechnology. Following this, they pursued further studies at the University of Zurich from 2006 to 2012 and earned a Doctor of Science degree.
