Parminder Benipal has extensive experience in software engineering and technology management, currently serving as Director of Technology at MetaOptima Technology Inc. since March 2015, overseeing the backend development of DermEngine, a leading skin analytics system. Parminder has held multiple roles, including Lead Software Engineer and Software Engineer Manager, where responsibilities involved database optimization, system performance monitoring, bug investigation, and implementing automated deployment processes. Previous positions include web development for Global Life for Children Society, software development at IBM Canada Ltd., and network administration at First Flight Couriers Limited. Parminder earned a Bachelor's degree in Software Systems from Simon Fraser University and a Computer Science diploma from Thompson Rivers University.
