James Leavitt

Vp, Medical Economics at Molina Healthcare

James Leavitt has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. James started their career at BYU Broadcasting as a Production Assistant before moving on to freelance film production. From 2007 to 2009, they volunteered as a Representative for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. In 2009, they transitioned to the field of DNA analysis as a DNA Analyst at Brigham Young University. In 2011, they joined Coventry Health Care as an Associate Actuarial Analyst and later worked as an Actuarial Intern. From 2012 to 2020, they worked at Mercer as a Senior Associate, specializing in consulting on state government Medicaid programs. Most recently, they joined Molina Healthcare, where they held positions such as Director of Actuarial Services, AVP of Actuarial Services, and currently serves as the VP of Medical Economics. In their various roles, James has demonstrated expertise in quantitative analysis, data validation, statistical analysis, and trend analysis for the healthcare industry.

James Leavitt attended Brigham Young University from 2006 to 2012, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Actuarial Science.
