Latonia Rice

LaTonia Rice is a seasoned medical professional with extensive experience in behavioral health and addiction medicine. From January 2017 to July 2022, LaTonia served in various leadership roles at Molina Healthcare, including Senior Medical Director of Behavioral Health and Chief Medical Officer for Molina Healthcare of Kentucky Inc. Responsibilities included integrating addiction medicine with behavioral health in rural health clinics and hospital settings, as well as educating stakeholders on substance use and mental health issues. Prior to Molina Healthcare, LaTonia was the Chief Medical Officer at Bluegrass.org from July 2005 to January 2017, where strategic planning and clinical care implementation were key responsibilities. LaTonia began training with a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Biology from Morehead State University.
