Samareen Shami

Samareen Shami, MPH, currently serves as the Director of Healthcare Services at Molina Healthcare since April 2025. Prior to this role, Samareen was employed at Health Plan of San Mateo (HPSM) from October 2018 to May 2025, where responsibilities included the development, implementation, and evaluation of the Population Health Management strategy and overseeing initiatives related to various priority health areas. Samareen also held positions at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in 2022-2023, focusing on the Population Health Training in Place Program. Earlier in the career, Samareen worked as a consultant and project manager in the oil and gas sector for Contax and in financial services for Start Consult. Educational qualifications include a Master of Public Health from the University of California, Berkeley, a Master's in Political Science from the University of Windsor, and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Lahore University of Management Sciences.
