Gitte Gylling H. Olesen

Gitte Gylling H. Olesen serves as the Sustainability Director at COWI, focusing on green transition and sustainability across buildings and industry since January 2022. Gitte holds multiple roles, including chairperson of the Knowledge and Competence Committee at Rådet for Bæredygtigt Byggeri and educator for the Danish Green Building Council's sustainability management program. Gitte is also a censor for various master's programs in sustainable building at the Technical University of Denmark. With a rich background in sustainable architecture, Gitte has previously worked as a chief specialist and team leader at Ramboll, co-founded Demolition 4 Design, and achieved recognition as a UNLEASHLab talent in urban sustainability. Academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in Sustainable Architecture and various certifications in green building practices.
