Matthew Rowland-Jones

Matthew Rowland-Jones is an experienced sustainability professional currently serving as the Head of Sustainability at Flint Group since March 2022, tasked with developing a global sustainability strategy aligned with key customer objectives. Prior experience includes leading global sustainability efforts at Pearson, where Matthew focused on strategy and targets such as Science-Based Targets and Net Zero. Matthew has also worked as a Sustainability Manager for Ball Packaging Europe and Rexam, managing environmental aspects and sustainability strategies. Additional roles include Head of Retail Food & Drink at AEA Technology, Waste Management Officer at South Oxfordshire District Council, and Recycling Officer at Rochford District Council. Matthew holds an Executive MBA in Leadership in Practice from The Open University, a BSc Hons in Environmental Science from the University of Bradford, and a Diploma in Management from Oxford Brookes University.
