Summary
Momar would simply not exist without the dedication of our successful sales team. We are immediately seeking an entry level Sales Representatives to sell Momar’s total solutions, with virtually every product or service available in the areas of maintenance, lubrication, water and wastewater treatment, food processing chemicals, mineral handling, chemicals and equipment, specialty hardware, industrial safety, and expert application services, to the world. The ideal Sales Representative will be personable and professional and have a solid understanding of business-to-business sales, including lead generation, demonstrating/presenting product and service offerings in a compelling way, successful relationship building, and negotiating and securing sales deals.
Objectives

Represent Momar’s products and services, beginning with a deep and comprehensive understanding of our total solution offerings, followed by consumer research, in order to identify how our solutions may assist our customers in achieving their overall needs.

Cultivate relationships, set appointments, and generate leads through independently planning and organizing your daily work schedule, calling on existing and/or potential customers in a defined geographic territory.

Develop and implement a personal sales plan and adjust sales techniques as needed based on interactions and results in the field.

Achieve profitable sales growth and meeting assigned sales targets.
Primary Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Maintain relationship development with existing customers through proactive sales activities strategic questioning, problem solving, etc. to ensure exceptional service and identification of new sales opportunities.
- Using LinkedIn as a primary source, identify prospects. Then, set appointments, make effective qualifying sales calls and necessary follow-ups, and fully execute the time-tested and proven Momar Steps of Selling to close new business in all solution, service, division categories offered.
- Possess in-depth product knowledge, perform demonstrations, and answer customer questions and objections, selling through customer education and a value-based approach and engaging technical staff and sales management as needed.
- Host presentations participate in networking events, and attend trade shows as requested or desired.
- Work closely with sales management to achieve and maintain business growth, regularly communicating the status of all active and pending accounts, customer purchasing behaviors, and opportunities for expansion.
- Provide weekly, monthly or quarterly reporting as requested by sales management to demonstrate pipeline, sales trending, forecasting, and projections.
Minimum Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months’ work experience can be substituted by sales internship.
- 4-year bachelor’s degree.
- Positive Self-Starter. You have an upbeat, persistent style and the ability to cold call without fear of rejection, manage your time well, and can present your ideas in a clear professional manner on paper, in-person, and over the phone.
- Continuous Learner. You’re always learning, growing, and questioning how things were done in the past to make them even better
- Integrity, resilience, positivity, and a “refuse to lose” attitude are must-haves in this job.
- A clear affinity for TEAMWORK and – while able to work independently – a desire to work in concert with others who have complimentary skill sets.
- Willingness to have a member or members of the Momar team accompany applicant during a current workday to observe and qualify their skills as a “prior-to-hire” part of the interviewing process.
