Renato Crouzeilles is an experienced Science Director at MOMBAK, a company focused on becoming the world's largest carbon removal organization through Amazon reforestation, since October 2021. Renato also serves as a collaborator lecturer at the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) in the graduate program in Ecology since February 2017. Additional roles include CEO of the Institute for Capacity Exchange in Environmental Decisions (ICEED) until July 2024, and various teaching positions at Veiga de Almeida University and the Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro. Previously, Renato held a senior management position at the Instituto Internacional para Sustentabilidade until August 2021. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Ecology and several degrees from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, complemented by business training from The Wharton School in May 2024.
