André Cloete

André Cloete is an experienced data professional currently serving as a Staff Data Engineer at Moment, where the focus is on building a data platform. Prior to this, André played a pivotal role at Yoco, initially as the interim Lead of Data Science & Analytics during a critical transition, and subsequently in various capacities including Staff Data Engineer, Manager of Data Engineering, and Technical Product Manager, effectively stabilizing and enhancing data operations. With a strong background in data science, engineering, and analytics acquired through roles at companies such as Anmut, DataProphet, and TFG, André possesses extensive expertise in data pipeline orchestration, solutions design, and team leadership. André holds a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com. Hons) in Financial Risk Management from Stellenbosch University and a Diploma in Audio Engineering from Cape Audio College.
