Soojin Ro

Soojin Ro has a diverse work experience in software engineering. Soojin is currently working at Momenti as a Senior Software Engineer (Research), where they focus on developing mobile frameworks with computer vision and creating Flutter apps and plugins. Soojin also holds the role of Senior Software Engineer (iOS) at Momenti, where they lead the iOS team and architect app architecture with automation support.

Prior to Momenti, Soojin worked at Grab as a Senior iOS Engineer, where they took ownership of engineering activities and implemented improvements such as feature modularization, build time improvement, and app size optimization.

Soojin has also worked at NAVER WEBTOON CORP as an iOS Developer, where they managed QA and release cycles for a popular comics app and maintained coding standards through code reviews. Soojin also worked as an iOS Developer at NAVER LABS during this time.

Earlier in their career, Soojin worked as an Android Developer at LINE Plus Corp and as a Co-Founder at Recover39.

Soojin Ro holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree from Yonsei University. Additionally, they have completed a course on Mobile Programming & Entrepreneurship at NHN NEXT Institute. Soojin also has a background in Chinese Language and Literature from Hankuk Academy of Foreign Studies. Soojin Ro has obtained several certifications, including a Deep Reinforcement Learning Nanodegree from Udacity in September 2022. Soojin has also completed courses in Improving Deep Neural Networks, Neural Networks and Deep Learning, and Machine Learning from Coursera in 2017.
