Maru Salazar

Maru Salazar, MPP, has over two decades of experience in nonprofit management, fundraising, and program development. Currently serving as the Manager of Institutional Giving and Grant Writer at Momentum for Health since August 2016, Maru specializes in institutional fundraising and development. Past roles include Managing Director of AARS Programs and Community Relations Manager at HealthRIGHT 360, and Development Director at Asian American Recovery Services, Inc. Maru has extensive experience in community programming, youth services, and staff training, demonstrated through previous positions at YWCA of SF and Marin, Girls Inc. of Alameda County, and Huckleberry Youth Programs. Maru holds a Master's in Public Policy and a Bachelor's degree in Public Policy from Mills College.
