Marie Mathews

Marie Mathews has extensive experience in nursing and lactation consulting, currently serving as a Lactation Consultant at St Peter's Hospital since December 2018 and as a Technical Writer for Mometrix Test Preparation since November 2017. Prior positions include Lactation Consultant at Kapiolani Women's and Children's Medical Center and RN IBCLC at AO Fox Memorial Hospital, where responsibilities encompassed charge nursing and both inpatient and community lactation support. Additional experience includes roles as an RN at Northern Dutchess Hospital and Clinical Quality Coordinator at Wellcare of NY, where Marie developed the “Beginnings” prenatal care program. Earlier experience includes serving as a Nurse Educator for the Peace Corps, training volunteers in midwifery and safe motherhood practices. Educational credentials include a BSN from Oregon Health & Science University and an AAS from Felician University.
