Lewis Brodnax

Lewis Brodnax has an extensive work experience spanning from 2007 to the present. Lewis began their career in 2007 at Equifax as a Global Infrastructure Architect, where they were responsible for project designs and cost estimates. In 2008, they moved to Unisource Worldwide, Inc. as an Enterprise Architect, where they were responsible for standards and solutions for infrastructure technologies and business continuity. From 2008 to 2014, they worked at Williams & Garcia, LLC in various roles, including Managing Consultant and Senior Infrastructure & Security Consultant. From 2014 to 2016, they worked at VerSprite Security as a Managing Consultant, where they built a nascent Privacy capability into a well defined practice. In 2016, they became an Affiliate Professor at Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University. In 2021, they began working at Serta Simmons Bedding, LLC as Head Of Information Security, where they were responsible for all aspects of Information Security, Risk, Privacy and Compliance. In 2020, they began working at IEEE-ISTO as Director, where they hosted the MIPI Alliance and the Wireless Power Consortium. Lewis is currently working at Company Confidential as CxO (Interim), where they are the interim technology and security leader for a stealth mode fintech. In 2022, they will begin working at Momnt as Chief Information Security Officer.

Lewis Brodnax has a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Sociology from Duke University, which they obtained between 1994 and 1999. Lewis has also obtained a number of certifications from various institutions, including Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in 2022, Rescue Diver from PADI in 2012, CCSK Early Adopter from Cloud Security Alliance in 2010, CISSP from International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium (ISC2) in 2008, Brocade Certified Network Designer (BCND) from Brocade in 2010, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) from Cisco in 2009, Brocade Certified SAN Manager (BCSM) from Brocade in 2006, Brocade Certified SAN Designer (BCSD) from Brocade in 2006, Brocade Certified Fabric Professional (BCFP) from Brocade in 2006, DB2 Certified Database Administrator from IBM in 2001, AIX Certified System Administrator from IBM in 2001, AIX Certified System Support from IBM in 2001, and pSeries p690 Hardware Specialist from IBM in 2001, as well as SQL Server Certified Database Administrator from Microsoft in 2000.
