Melanie Monique Davis

Melanie Monique Davis has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Melanie Monique began their career as an Assistant Service Manager at John Deere Landscapes LLC, participating in the LESCO, Inc. Management Advancement Program. Melanie Monique then worked as an Adult Education Instructor at Miami-Dade County Public Schools and later became a Mathematics Teacher at North Miami Middle School.

In 2008, Davis joined TNTP, where they held various roles such as Recruiter, Program Operations Manager, and Operations Consultant for the organization's teaching fellows programs. Melanie Monique also worked as an Operations Manager and Site Manager of Program Operations in the Dallas region.

Davis then transitioned to Achievement Network (ANet) in 2013, where they served as a Staffing Support Specialist, Talent Placement Manager, and ultimately as the Director of Talent Acquisition.

Melanie Monique later worked as a Sourcer at Google for Global Business Operations and Portfolio Diversity on a contracting basis from 2016 to 2017.

In 2017, Davis joined The Coding Space as an After School Coding Teacher for beginners on a part-time basis.

Their most recent role was at Momofuku, where they started as an HR Manager in 2018. Melanie Monique then advanced to become the HR Director for Development & Culture, and eventually the HR Director for the East Coast in 2021.

Melanie Monique Davis obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Food and Resource Economics from the University of Florida, where they studied from 1999 to 2004.
