Nathan White

Nathan White has extensive work experience in the technology sector. Nathan served as the Chief Technology Officer and Senior Vice President of Digital Strategy and Technology at MomsRising.org from July 2019. Prior to this role, they held the positions of Vice President of Online Fundraising & Member Growth and Chief Technology Officer at the same organization from January 2017 to July 2019.

Before joining MomsRising.org, Nathan worked at Carleton College as a Senior Web Application Developer. During their tenure, they led a cooperative network of liberal arts schools in co-developing the Reason CMS. Nathan established collaboration practices, documentation standards, and a shared development roadmap. Nathan also served as the Lead Developer for the Reason Content Management system.

Nathan also worked at Oregon Health & Science University as an Accessible Information Technology Coordinator. In this role, they collaborated with federally funded Disability & Business Technical Assistance Centers to improve the accessibility of IT in educational institutions. Nathan trained developers on making websites and software accessible to people with disabilities and created a suite of tools for data collection and reporting.

Nathan White attended Grinnell College from 1996 to 2000, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree. Nathan'sacademic focus during their time at Grinnell College was in the fields of American Studies and Technology Studies.
