Cherie Chow

Cherie Chow is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in recreational therapy and elder care. Currently serving as a Recreation Aide at Extendicare since October 2023, Cherie also holds the position of Activity Aide at Mon Sheong Foundation since March 2018. Previous roles include Recreation Therapy Student at Unionville Home Society and a 560-hour internship as a Recreation Therapy Co-op at Community Living York South. Additional internships at Yee Hong Centre For Geriatric Care further strengthened expertise in therapeutic recreation, program development, and evaluation. Cherie's background also includes experience as an Activation Worker and administrative roles in various sectors. Cherie earned an Honours Bachelor of Therapeutic Recreation from Seneca Polytechnic, complementing a Diploma in Social Service Worker Gerontology.
