Aaron Phillips has a diverse and extensive work experience in the technology industry. Aaron is currently the Chief Marketing Officer at Monarx, where they lead marketing efforts for their anti-malware technology. Prior to Monarx, Aaron founded The KA Network, a consulting practice that helps technology companies with marketing strategies and user experience. Aaron also founded and served as CRO at onRocket.com, an all-in-one Managed WordPress Hosting platform. Additionally, they founded Jerky Subscription, a subscription box service focused on craft beef jerky. Aaron has held executive positions at Help.com, cPanel, and FastServers, Inc., where they were responsible for various aspects of customer service, marketing, and operations. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated expertise in B2B marketing, customer support, and business development.
Aaron Phillips attended the University of Northern Iowa from 1998 to 2001, where they studied Marketing & Computer Science. However, they did not earn a degree as they quit college. Prior to their time at the University of Northern Iowa, Aaron attended Hawkeye Community College from 1994 to 1996 and completed a 2-year program in General Studies. Apart from their formal education, Aaron has obtained additional certifications including Beef Jerky Curator from Carnivorious Dried Meats in March 2019, The Ritz-Carlton Executive Education Program from The Ritz-Carlton Leadership Center in October 2015, and Certified ScrumMaster® from Scrum Alliance in February 2014.
