Anna Murphy has over two decades of experience in biomechanics and clinical research management. Currently serving as the Manager and Biomechanist at Monash Health since May 2005, Anna oversees the Clinical Research Centre for Movement Disorders & Gait and the Clinical Gait Analysis Service, managing personnel and resources in a leading Gait Laboratory. Previous roles include Project Officer at the National Health and Medical Research Council, focusing on research partnerships and grant management, and Technical Officer at the Royal Children’s Hospital, where Anna gained experience in designing and operating a 3D gait laboratory. Early career experience includes serving as a Sports Officer at the Australian Institute of Sport, managing motion analysis systems for various sports. Anna holds a PhD in Biomechanics from The University of Queensland and additional degrees in Health Science and Applied Science with a focus on biomechanics and exercise physiology.
