Shane Butler

Shane Butler is a seasoned professional with over a decade of experience in capital project and community communications, currently serving as the Senior Manager at Monash Health since November 2011. In this role, Shane leads the development and execution of communication strategies for major capital projects, focusing on equipping over 20,000 employees to navigate significant organizational changes. Shane's prior positions at Monash Health include Manager of Capital Project and Community Communications and Media Communications Manager, where responsibilities included media strategy and enhancing the organization’s reputation through strategic media engagement. Before joining Monash Health, Shane worked as a Media Officer at Cancer Council Victoria and held a position as a Marketing and Communications Assistant. Shane holds a Bachelor of Journalism from Monash University, earned between 2007 and 2009.
