Megan Clark

Deputy Chancellor at Monash University

Dr. Megan Clark joined the Monash University Council in April 2015.

Dr. Clark is currently the Chair of the Advisory Board to the Australian Space Agency and a non-executive director of Rio Tinto and CSL Limited. She is a member of the Australian advisory board to the Bank of America Australia and a member of the Global Advisory Council of the Bank of America and a member of the advisory board of MITRE Australia. MITRE provides research services in the areas of defence technology, cyber, space and artificial intelligence. She was the inaugural Head of the Australian Space Agency from 2018 to 2020 and Chief Executive of the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO) from 2009 to 2014 and prior to that vice president Technology and later vice president Health, Safety, Environment, Community and Sustainability with BHP.

Dr. Clark is a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Technological Science and Engineering (ATSE), a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (AusIMM) and a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD). In 2014, Dr Clark was awarded a Companion of the Order of Australia for eminent service to scientific research and development.
