Ali bin Selamat

Ali Selamat is currently the Dean at the Malaysia Japan International Institute of Technology (MJIIT) at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, where they lead an institution dedicated to a Japanese style of education. Previously, Ali served as the Chief Information Officer and Director of ICT at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia and was involved in numerous academic roles, including Deputy Vice Chancellor. They have edited various academic journals and have research interests that span cloud computing, software security, and neural networks. Ali holds a Dr. Eng. degree from Osaka Prefecture University and has participated as a visiting professor at multiple universities worldwide.
