Peter Marriott

A graduate of Monash University, Mr Marriott was appointed to the Monash University Council in 2019.

Mr Marriott is a Non-Executive director and currently serves on the boards of ASX Limited including as Chairman of Audit and Risk Committee and Westpac Banking Corporation where he is also Chairman of the Audit Committee. He is also on the Council of St Catherine’s School.

He worked for Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Limited (ANZ) for 19 years including as Chief Financial Officer for 15 years and held earlier roles as Group General Manager Risk Management and Financial Controller.

Mr Marriott commenced his professional career at KPMG where he spent 13 years including 6 years as a partner and specialised in auditing and consulting in financial services, risk management and technology.
