Michael Slamanig

Michael Slamanig possesses extensive experience in quality management and operational excellence across various industries, currently serving as the Group Head of Quality and Head of Quality for Consumer Flexibles at Mondi Group since 2017. In addition to this role, Michael is also a university lecturer at Donau University, focusing on quality and process management. Previously, Michael worked as a Business Excellence Manager at Siemens, where responsibilities included leading non-conformance cost management efforts. Additional experience includes a project manager role at Mondi Group, management consulting at Accenture, and academic positions at Alpen-Adria-Universität Klagenfurt. Michael holds a PhD in Production/Operations Management and has a solid foundational education in Mechanical Engineering and Economics.
