Rafael Rodriguez Gago

Rafael Rodriguez Gago is a Robotics, Automation and Control Systems Engineer with experience working for various companies. Rafael worked as a Robotics, Industrial Automation and Control Systems Engineer for Mondragon Assembly starting in May 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Robotics, Automation and Control Systems Engineer for IKERLAN from November 2021 to April 2023. Before that, they were an Industrial design engineer at NODOSAFER S.L from September 2020 to August 2021. Their responsibilities included industrial design with SolidWorks, CAD/CAM/CAE with SolidWorks, project development, and robot programming and automation with TwinCat (Beckhoff) and KUKA Robot programming. From January 2016 to October 2016, they served as the Senior Technician of the Technical Office at NODOSAFER S.L.

Rafael Rodriguez Gago started their education at UNED - Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia in 2013, where they obtained a certification in Autocad. In 2014, they pursued a Higher Technician degree in Design and Programming of Mechanical Manufacture from IES Politénico de Vigo. Later, they completed their degree in Industrial Electronics and Automation from the University of Valencia in 2021. Currently, they are enrolled in a Master's program in Robotics and Control Systems at Mondragon Unibertsitatea, expected to be completed in 2023. Apart from education, they have acquired a variety of certifications including B2 First from Cambridge Assessment English, "Diploma in Entrepreneurship Training" from TrepCamp, and a certification in Comercio Electrónico from Google Actíva. Rafael has also participated in various collaborative events, including the organization of Sesame Summit 2019, Explorer Jóvenes con Ideas (Finalista:2º puesto), and Expociencia 2017. In addition, they obtained a certification in Introduction to FEM and CFD with ANSYS:FEM from the Universidade de Vigo in 2017.
