Marieke Wiegel

Marieke Wiegel serves as the Director of De Grote Kerk Breda, focusing on the restoration of this significant national heritage site, enhancing organizational professionalism, and developing a high-quality cultural program. In addition, Marieke holds several advisory and board positions, including membership in the Advisory Committee for Visual Arts at the Mondriaan Fund and serving as vice-chair of the Advisory Committee for Culture in the City of Rotterdam. Marieke has previously contributed to the Nederlands Fotomuseum as Head of Presentations and has served on various boards, including BredaPhoto and ArtTable. Marieke holds a certificat in fundraising from ESSEC Business School and degrees in Art History from the University of Amsterdam and University Paul Valery Montpellier.
