Brian Prentice

Brian Prentice is the Chief Risk Officer for Moneris. Brian is responsible for leading the teams that directly manage credit, fraud and collection risk for Moneris , as well as providing leadership to the Enterprise Risk Management function at the company. Brian joined Moneris in 2006 and has 15 years of senior management experience in financial services and risk management. Prior to Moneris, Brian was Senior Risk Manager at Royal Bank of Canada. He was responsible for managing credit risk in a diversified portfolio of consumer facing Capital Markets clients. Brian holds a B.A. from Western University, an M.B.A. from York University, is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and, also holds the Chartered Director (C. Dir) designation. Brian currently sits on the North American Risk Council for Visa, Inc. and is on the executive advisory board of the Strategic Risk Counsel of the Conference Board of Canada.
