Igor Hobotov

Igor Hobotov has a diverse background in design, with their most recent role being the Lead Product Designer at Monese since July 2023. Prior to that, they held the position of Senior Product Designer (Internal Tools) at Monese from July 2022 until August 2023. Igor also worked as an Internal UX Analyst at Monese from January 2019 to July 2022.

Before joining Monese, Igor worked as a Freelance UX/UI Designer at Sonne Design OÜ from June 2013 to August 2020. Igor was also a Web Designer at Eesti Energia from April 2016 to December 2018, and a UI Designer at Flux OÜ from October 2014 to April 2016.

Earlier in their career, Igor held various design roles. Igor was a User Interface Designer at 88mph.ac, where they provided product design support to startups in African countries. Igor also worked as a User Interface Designer at HumanIPO, where they designed and implemented multiple versions of the site. In addition, Igor was a Graphic Designer for the Student and Short Film Festival Sleepwalkers, responsible for designing the overall look and feel of the festival.

Igor started their career as a Graphic Designer at Flux OÜ and later served as an Expert at the Graphic Design Department of the Estonian Academy of Arts.

Igor Hobotov attended the Estonian Academy of Arts from 2003 to 2008 where they studied graphic design. Igor also studied graphic design at the Gerrit Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam from 2005 to 2006.
