Juan Pablo Salazar has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Juan Pablo began their career at the Federación Nacional de Cafeteros de Colombia as an Analyst of Project Management, where they were involved in negotiating partnerships and securing resources for technological developments. Juan Pablo also focused on improving the user experience and interaction with the coffee commercial app.

After their time at the Federación Nacional de Cafeteros de Colombia, Juan Pablo worked at Alpina, initially as a Commercial Coordinator for the TAT Channel - Distributors, where they led sales efforts for the distributor "Supernova" at a national level. Juan Pablo managed various aspects of the business, including commercial, financial, logistic, and technological processes, and achieved an average monthly sales of 4.5 billion pesos with around 12,000 clients in the southern territory of Bogota.

Later, at Alpina, Juan Pablo took on the role of Commercial Leader for the Superetes Channel, responsible for leading sales of Alpina products to over 200 clients in Bogota and the surrounding areas. Juan Pablo developed growth strategies based on relationship-building and meeting sales targets, resulting in an average monthly sales of 1.2 billion pesos. Juan Pablo provided training, guidance, and support to the sales team to identify strengths and opportunities for growth, leading to an 18% increase in sales compared to the previous year.

Currently, Juan Pablo is the Head of Growth at Monet - Adelantos al Instante (YC S21), where they oversee the company's growth initiatives.

Juan Pablo Salazar obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Empresa, gestión, marketing y disciplinas afines from Universidad EAFIT from 2020 to 2022. Juan Pablo then completed a Programa Internacional en Habilidades Gerenciales y Negociación in Administración y gestión de empresas at La Salle BCN in 2022. In 2020, they also completed a course in ANALISIS DE DATOS PARA LA TOMA DE DECISIONES at INTELLIGENT INSTITUTE OF COMPUTER TRAINING PRIVATE LIMITED. Prior to these, from 2013 to 2017, Juan Pablo Salazar earned a degree in Administración y Dirección de Empresas from Universidad de Manizales.

In addition to their formal education, Juan Pablo Salazar obtained certifications such as CURSO DE GROWTH from Growth Rockstar in April 2023, Coaching para ventas, Cómo potenciar tus conversaciones de ventas, Fundamentos de la gestión de ventas, and Sales: Closing Strategies from LinkedIn in March 2021.
