Jiang Yan Pang has a diverse work experience spanning various government organizations and academic institutions. They began their career as an intern at the Ministry of Trade and Industry in 2009 and later interned again at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. In 2010, they worked as a Health Policy Analyst at the Ministry of Health Singapore. In 2012, they joined the Economics Division of the Ministry of Trade and Industry as an intern. They then joined the Ministry of Finance in 2015 as a Senior Associate, specializing in Fiscal Strategy and Systems. They later became the Head of Revenue and Financing Policy, leading a team of officers. In 2018, Jiang Yan Pang joined the Monetary Authority of Singapore as the Deputy Director, working on the Foreign Exchange Team. In 2020, they became the Deputy Director and Team Lead for the Foreign Exchange Team. Currently, Jiang Yan Pang is the Lead Portfolio Manager in the Reserve Management Department at the Monetary Authority of Singapore.
Jiang Yan Pang holds a Masters degree in Finance from Princeton University, which was obtained from 2010 to 2011. Prior to that, they completed their B.A. with General Honors in Economics at the University of Chicago from 2007 to 2010. In terms of additional certifications, they are a Chartered Financial Analyst Charterholder, awarded by the CFA Institute in 2023. Jiang Yan also obtained the Japanese Language Proficiency Test Level 1 from The Japan Foundation in 2009.
