Mr. Wong Zeng Yi is the Assistant Managing Director of the Organisation and People Development Group. He oversees the Organisation Development and Communications, Corporate Services, Human Resource, and Legal Departments, as well as the MAS Academy. The Group synergizes MAS’ efforts in transforming the organization.
Mr. Wong previously headed Banking Department II which oversees foreign banks and finance companies and houses the Financial Risk Specialist Division which undertakes technical supervision and risk surveillance. He also served in different functions in MAS, including financial center development, and international supervision of capital market entities.
Mr. Wong holds a Master of Public Administration from Columbia University, a Master in Public Policy from the National University of Singapore, and a Master of Philosophy in Finance from Cambridge University. He also graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a dual degree in Economics.
