Ryoichi Yamabe

Ryoichi Yamabe is an experienced leader in the finance and technology sectors, currently serving as the Representative Director, President, and CEO of MONEY DESIGN Co., LTD., a Tokyo-based robo-advisor company since June 2017. Additionally, Ryoichi holds the position of Director at GAX MD Sdn Bhd, a Kuala Lumpur-based robo-advisor firm, since September 2018. Ryoichi previously founded and served as CEO of Qlohg and Riocee Inc., which merged with MONEY DESIGN, and led Incapture Japan as CEO from 2013 to 2016. Ryoichi also held senior roles at BlackRock and Simplex Asset Management, and holds a Master's degree in Economics with a focus on Mathematical Finance from Osaka University and a Bachelor's degree in Economics with a specialization in Econometrics from Doshisha University.
