Ting Han

Ting Han is a seasoned researcher currently serving as a Senior Researcher at Money Forward, Inc., since June 2023, specializing in the Data Strategy Office. Previously, Ting held the position of Research Scientist at SmartNews from May 2022 to June 2023, focusing on content understanding and news recommendation. Prior to that, Ting worked as a Research Scientist at the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology from December 2018 to May 2022 and briefly as a Senior Algorithm Engineer at Alibaba Group in late 2018, contributing to natural language generation for personalized hotel recommendation systems. Ting's early experience includes an internship at Osaka University in late 2017, where engagement was in a multimodal generation project. Ting holds a PhD in Computational Linguistics from Bielefeld University, along with a Master's degree in Information and Signal Processing and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Lanzhou University.
