Namalie Jayasinghe

Namalie Jayasinghe is a seasoned professional specializing in gender analysis, women's rights, and humanitarian research, currently serving as the Senior Research, Evaluation & Learning Advisor at Oxfam America since July 2017, where responsibilities include managing research on women's rights and extractive industry revenue accountability. Previous roles include Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Kadir Has University, focusing on comparative gender studies between Turkey and Sri Lanka, and Consultant at the West Africa Biodiversity and Climate Change project, where expertise in gender and natural resource management was applied. Jayasinghe's academic qualifications include a PhD in International Relations and Affairs from American University, an MSc in Environment and Development from LSE, and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from New York University.
