Cara Macksoud, FBS® has a long and varied work experience. Cara began their career in 1995 as a Wire Clerk at Rosenblatt Securities. In 1999, they moved to Goldman Sachs as an Assistant Derivatives Trader. In 2001, they joined Bear Stearns & Co. as an NYSE Equity Derivatives Specialist. In 2007, they became a VP Equity Derivatives at Tullett Prebon. In 2010, they took on the role of Chaos Keeper at Kasa de Kehoe. In 2017, they worked as a Project Manager at GTS and as COO/CFO and Managing Director, Finance and Operations at The Animation Project, Inc. In 2021, they became CEO, Managing Director and Consultant at Money Habitudes and Founder // Financial Advocate at Bank Roll'd.

Cara Macksoud, FBS® has an extensive educational background. Cara obtained a Bachelor of Science in Finance/Information Systems from NYU Stern School of Business between 1995 and 1999. In 2005 and 2006, they earned a Professional Certificate in Gaming from San Diego State University. Currently, they are pursuing a Master of Science in Personal Financial Planning from Kansas State University, which they are expected to complete in 2024. Additionally, they are also working towards a Graduate Certificate in Financial Therapy from Kansas State University, which they are expected to complete in 2022. In December 2022, they will obtain their Certified Financial Behavior Specialist® certification from the Financial Psychology Institute®.
