George Karabelas

George Karabelas is a Principal at VentureFriends since March 2019, actively involved in early-stage investments including Jeeves and other technology-focused companies. Currently serving as a Senior Associate at Huspy and a Board Observer for Jeeves and MoneyHash, George also holds investor roles in multiple companies such as Belvo, embat, and Tymit. Previously, George was a Project Portfolio Manager in the European and Development Programs Division, managing a €13M budget and enhancing payment forecasts and risk analyses. As a co-founder of Suitaby, George developed an innovative search engine for clothing tailored to individual measurements. George earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the Athens University of Economics and Business in 2015.
