Steve Bannigan

Steve Bannigan is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the telecommunications and financial services sectors. As Co-Founder and Director of MoneyMe since May 2013, Steve has played a pivotal role in establishing a diversified consumer direct lending platform targeting the millennial market in Australia. Prior to this, Steve held various leadership positions at Telstra from August 2009 to February 2016, including Director of Customer Management, where efforts were directed towards redefining service delivery for distressed customers, and Director of Commercial Management, focusing on consumer segment strategies. Additionally, Steve served as Director of Sales & Service Partners, overseeing a significant portion of Telstra’s revenue generation. Earlier career experience includes a role as General Manager of Consumer Sales at Vodafone Australia, leading strategic sales initiatives in the consumer marketplace. Steve's foundational education was completed at St Edwards Christian Brothers College from 1980 to 1985.
