Matt Runyon is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in leadership and business development. Currently serving as a Development Partner at Monfort Companies since January 2021, Matt is also a member of the Truman Defense Council, contributing to the Truman National Security Project since December 2013. Matt's past roles include Partner at Summit Capital Venture Group, Business Development at HausMart, and Vice President of Business Development at TRINE. Notably, as Director of Program Operations at Team Rubicon, Matt developed and scaled veteran reintegration programs. Matt's experience in cross-sector collaboration was furthered during a fellowship with the Presidio Trust. Military service included serving as a Sergeant in the US Army, where key contributions involved planning combat missions during Operation Iraqi Freedom. Matt holds an MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management and a B.S. in Accounting from USC Marshall School of Business.
