Carlos Martín Sánchez

Carlos Martín Sánchez has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies.

Carlos currently holds senior leadership positions at MongoDB, where they started in 2021. Carlos'sroles at MongoDB include Senior Lead Engineer and Lead Software Engineer.

Before joining MongoDB, Carlos worked at eBay as a Software Engineer from 2020 to 2021.

Carlos also had significant experience at Microsoft, where they worked as a Software Engineer from 2015 to 2019. During this time, they developed commerce applications for Skype Division using languages like Typescript, Python, Java, React, React-Native, and PHP. Carlos also utilized TDD & CD methodologies.

Prior to Microsoft, Carlos worked at CHAMP Cargosystems as a Software Engineer from 2014 to 2015.

Carlos's earlier experience includes working as a Consultant at Indizen Technologies, where they developed automated trading components in the ION MarketView platform from 2012 to 2014.

Carlos also worked as an Analyst Programmer at Sistemas Técnicos de Loterías del Estado from 2007 to 2012, where they were involved in the analysis, design, development, and unit testing of distributed communication systems and protocols.

Carlos began their career as an R&D Staff member at UCLM in 2006, where they developed new CASE tool functionalities, including automatic generation of test cases, GUI for UML diagrams, XMI support, and reverse engineering.

Carlos Martín Sánchez studied Computer Engineering with a focus on Quality of Information Systems at the Universidad de Castilla-La Mancha from 2001 to 2007. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications, including Application Security and Secure Coding Training in ".NET" and "C/C++" from Codebashing in November 2017. Carlos also has certifications in C++, IPv6, and various programming courses from the University of Castile-La Mancha. Carlos has also completed a Reconversion to JAVA Technology course from CLE Formación.
