Darryl Freedman

Darryl Freedman has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. They currently work at MongoDB as the VP, HRBP, Sales since February 2023. Prior to this role, they served as the HR Director, International Sales at MongoDB from July 2019 to March 2023.

Before joining MongoDB, Darryl worked at AppDynamics as the HR Director, EMEA from August 2017 to June 2019. They were responsible for maintaining and developing the "start-up" culture while driving high growth and facilitating integration with Cisco after the acquisition.

From August 2014 to August 2017, Darryl served as the HR and Talent Acquisition Director, EMEA at Acquia.

At OpenText, Darryl held two roles: HR Director, Northern and Southern EMEA from March 2013 to July 2014, and N. European HR Director from April 2011 to March 2013. In both roles, they had operational HR responsibilities and served as a business partner to key executives in multiple regions.

Before OpenText, Darryl worked at TIBCO Software as the Northern EMEA HR Manager from October 2010 to April 2011, where they had full HR responsibility for the UK, SA, and Northern Europe regions. They also established an in-house EMEA recruitment team.

Prior to TIBCO Software, Darryl joined Servier in August 2002 and worked as an HR Manager until June 2010. They experienced significant business growth and contraction during their time there.

Darryl began their career at TonerGraham in 2001 as a Manager and later moved to Michael Page, where they progressed from a Graduate Trainee to the Manager of the Reading office. They have extensive experience in all levels of recruitment, from graduate to finance director.

Darryl Freedman attended Caldicott from 1987 to 1992 where they obtained an unspecified degree in an unknown field of study. Later, they pursued higher education and earned a BSc in Economics from the University of Bristol, graduating in 1996.
