David O'Dowd

David O'Dowd has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. David is currently working at MongoDB as a Technical Program Manager, focusing on Cloud Engineering since 2022. Prior to that, they worked at SpencerStuart International as an Agile Coach for Quality Assurance from 2014 to 2021. David also held the role of Agile Test Manager at Paddy Power Betfair from 2013 to 2014. Before that, they worked as an Agile Test Team Leader at the Department of Social Protection via BearingPoint from 2008 to 2012. Additionally, they worked at FEXCO Merchant Services as a Test Analyst & Python Test Automation Engineer in 2007 and 2006. Their earliest role was as an IT Network Support Engineer at Astellas Klinge Pharma in 2005.

David O'Dowd's education history includes obtaining a Lean Black Belt from the University of Limerick from 2021 to 2022. David also holds a Postgraduate Diploma (PG Dip) in the Management of Information Systems from Trinity College Dublin. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) with Honors in Computer Systems from the University of Limerick.

In addition to their formal education, David O'Dowd has obtained several certifications. David is a Certified Scrum Professional - Scrum Master (CSP-SM) from the Scrum Alliance, which they obtained in April 2016. David is also a Certified Scrum Master (CSM) from the Scrum Alliance, obtained in November 2015. Furthermore, they hold the Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL) certification from the ISTQB - International Software Testing Qualifications Board, which they obtained in August 2010.
