Elena Opinca

Elena Opinca has a strong background in talent acquisition and recruitment. Elena currently works at MongoDB as the EMEA Lead recruiter for Ecosystem & CSM since May 2022. Prior to that, they worked at AppDynamics as a Senior Talent Acquisition Partner from February 2019 to January 2021. Before that, they were employed at Gartner as the EMEA Lead Recruiter for Product & Client Services from September 2015 to February 2019. Elena also gained experience at Oracle as an EMEA Recruitment Specialist from June 2014 to September 2015. Elena'searlier roles include working at ESPON in a Finance and Budget Cluster role from October 2013 to April 2014 and at the European Investment Bank as part of the Graduate Program in the Personnel & Staffing Division from April 2013 to September 2013. Elena also worked at the European Parliament as a Trainee in the HR Unit of the DG Personnel from October 2012 to March 2013. Elena started their career as a Manager Assistant at RCG Consulting Group in Cluj from April 2012 to July 2012. Elena's earliest work experience was as a Local Coordinator for a European project titled "Corruption concerns all of us" at Agenda 21 in Bucharest from January 2010 to November 2010.

Elena Opinca holds a Master's degree in European Affairs and Programme Management from the University of Babes Bolyai, Romania, which they obtained from 2012 to 2014. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Administrative Sciences from the same university, completing their studies from 2008 to 2011. Additionally, Elena obtained a certification in Black Belt-Sourcing Ninja and is certified in Internet Recruitment from Social Talent in August 2014.
