Gabriele Cimato

Gabriele Cimato has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Gabriele began their career at Foodperk, where they served as a Lead Engineer from February 2016 to January 2017. At Foodperk, their responsibilities included connecting people with nearby restaurants offering convenient food deals and reducing food waste by enabling businesses to sell unsold food at a discount before the end of the day.

In 2016, Cimato joined Hutch as a Senior Software Engineer. In this role, they supervised the web platform, developed internal tools, and supported full-stack development. Gabriele also contributed to R&D efforts to advance technology and provide innovative solutions, leading to an 80% reduction in render costs. From January 2019 to January 2020, Cimato transitioned to the position of Director of Technical Innovation at Hutch. As the Director, they focused on identifying and developing technologies that would give the company a competitive advantage. Gabriele allocated resources, set up teams, and shaped long-term capabilities. Gabriele Cimato obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering from the Università degli Studi di Firenze from 2007 to 2012. Later, from 2012 to 2015, they pursued a Master's Degree in Computer Engineering from the same institution. In addition to their formal education, Gabriele also earned several certifications, including the TOEFL iBT from The TOEFL® test in December 2010, and a Professional Bartending Course from Circolo Culturale Unplugged in November 2009.
