Kenneth White

Security Principal

Kenneth White is a seasoned professional in the field of cybersecurity and technology, currently serving as Security Principal at MongoDB since October 2017. Additionally, Kenneth contributes as a member of the Black Hat Review Board since 2020 and leads the Open Source Cryptography Track for ICMConference.org since 2019. As a co-founder and principal at BAO Systems since 2012 and director and co-founder of the Open Crypto Audit Project since November 2013, Kenneth has made significant impacts in cryptographic security. Previous roles include working with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security on software security assurance, serving as Senior Vice President of R&D at Dovel Technologies, and acting as Principal Consultant for The Linux Foundation. Kenneth's academic background includes an EdM in cognitive assessment and psychometrics from Harvard University and participation in a PhD program in Neuroscience and Cognitive Science at the University of Maryland, in addition to serving as a research fellow at the National Institutes of Health Clinical Center.
