Paul Rooney

Paul Rooney has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Paul started their career as an intern at Datacor, Inc. in 2000. Paul then worked as a Senior Platform Consultant at Provenir from 2004 to 2006. Following this, they joined MarkLogic as a Principal Consultant, where they designed systems architectures and drove application design based on the MarkLogic Server platform. In 2011, they transitioned to the role of Manager of Support Services at MarkLogic. In 2012, Paul joined BloomReach as a Technical Project Manager, where they designed and developed internal tools to streamline the integration process and worked on various API and monitoring projects. Since 2014, Paul has been a Senior Director at MongoDB, responsible for building and managing infrastructure and tools in the Technical Services organization, including dashboards, support sites, and diagnostic tools.

Paul Rooney received their Bachelor of Science degree in Operations Research & Industrial Engineering from Cornell University in 2004. Paul then went on to pursue a Master of Business Administration degree at NYU Stern School of Business, specializing in Entrepreneurship, Marketing, and Finance, which they completed in 2009.
