Susan Loverso

Susan LoVerso is a Senior Staff Engineer at MongoDB, Inc. since December 2014, contributing to the WiredTiger Storage Engine. Prior experience includes consulting roles at WiredTiger and Sleepycat Software, where work focused on database storage engines, which were later acquired by MongoDB and Oracle Corp, respectively. At Oracle Corp, Susan served as a Consulting Member of Technical Staff, specializing in Berkeley DB. Additional experience encompasses consultancy at Orca, Hitachi, and Stratus Computer, as well as a technical role at Thinking Machines Corporation, where contributions were made to the CM-5 file and RAID systems. Susan began the career as a Software Engineer at Encore Computer Corporation, working on Mach OS. Education was completed at the University at Buffalo from 1982 to 1987.
