William Shulman

William Shulman has a wealth of work experience in various roles and companies.

William worked at MongoDB from 2018 to the present, initially as the VP of Engineering from November 2018 to March 2021, and then as the VP of Product from March 2021 onwards.

Prior to MongoDB, they co-founded and served as the CEO of mLab from May 2011 to November 2018.

In 2008, William worked at Patriarch Partners as the Interim CTO and VP of Engineering for eMag Solutions from September 2008 to July 2009.

Before that, they co-founded Merced Systems, where they held multiple roles including CTO, Chief Architect, and Director of Software Development from 2002 to 2008.

William also worked at BabyCenter as the Director of Software Development from 1999 to 2001, and at Network Computer Inc as a Software Engineer from 1997 to 1998.

William Shulman obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Stanford University, completing their education between the years 1994 and 1997.
