Zuzana Matevossian

Zuzana Matevossian has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Zuzana currently works at MongoDB as a Solutions Architect Team Lead, leading the team since August 2022. Prior to this, they served as a Senior Solutions Architect at MongoDB from July 2021 to August 2022.

Before joining MongoDB, Zuzana worked at AppDynamics as a Senior Sales Engineer from March 2020 to June 2021.

Zuzana also has experience at Attivio, where they held the positions of Technical Account Manager from September 2019 to March 2020 and Solutions Architect from April 2018 to September 2019. In their role as a Solutions Architect, Zuzana developed effective presentations of AI and ML search software, customized demonstrations for clients, and researched and developed AI chatbot modules and marketing materials.

Zuzana started their career at IBM, where they held the roles of Watson Cognitive Solutions Senior Consultant from September 2016 to April 2018 and Watson Solutions Consultant from September 2015 to September 2016. As a Senior Consultant, they collaborated with C-level executives from Fortune 500 companies to find AI solutions and designed proof of concepts and prototypes. As a Solutions Consultant, they created language analysis frameworks, measured data accuracy, and implemented IBM Watson products for customized client solutions.

Zuzana's career began as a Fulbright Fellow at the Fulbright Association, where they taught English grammar, listening, speaking, and writing to Turkish-speaking students and led extracurricular activities to engage students with the language. Zuzana held this position from September 2014 to June 2015.

Zuzana Matevossian has a Master's degree in Computer Software Engineering from Harvard Extension School. Prior to that, they obtained two Bachelor's degrees with Distinction, one in History and Classics from Columbia University and another in History and Classics from Barnard College. In addition to their formal education, Zuzana has acquired several certifications. These include being a MongoDB Certified Developer, Associate (C100DEV) from MongoDB and completing an Intensive Summer Course in Ancient Greek at the City College of New York: Summer Greek Institute. Zuzana also holds certifications from IBM, such as IBM Blockchain Consulting, IBM Certified Application Developer - Watson V3 Certification, and IBM Design Thinking Practitioner. Zuzana has also participated in an Intensive Summer Immersion Program in Turkish Language and Culture at the TOMER Institute of Ankara University.
