Elisabeth Lanz has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of knitwear design. Elisabeth started their career at Burberry Prorsum as an Assistant Womenswear Knitwear Designer in 2008. Elisabeth then moved on to Alexander McQueen, where they worked as a Womenswear and Menswear Knitwear and Jersey Designer from 2011 to 2015. After that, they worked with Emilia Wickstead as a Freelance Knitwear Designer from 2015 to 2016. Elisabeth then joined ROKSANDA as a Freelance knitwear designer from 2016 to 2018. Following that, they worked at Alfred Dunhill Ltd. as a Freelance Knitwear and Jersey designer in 2017. In 2020, they worked at ME+EM Ltd. as a Knitwear Designer, and in 2021, they joined Victoria Beckham as a Senior Knitwear Designer (maternity cover) until 2022. Currently, they are working at Monique Lhuillier as a Knitwear Design Consultant, which they started in 2023. Additionally, they have gained experience as a Senior Industrial Advisor at EBRD, where they advised knitwear factories on design coaching, sustainability, and marketing in projects based in Mongolia and Kazakhstan since 2018. Throughout their career, Elisabeth Lanz has honed their skills in knitwear design and has gained valuable experience working with various prestigious fashion brands.

Elisabeth Lanz has a background in fashion knitwear and has pursued their education in this field. Elisabeth attended the Royal College of Art from 2006 to 2008, where they focused on fashion knitwear. Prior to that, they studied at Central Saint Martins, University of The Arts London from 2002 to 2006, also in the field of fashion knitwear.
