Director of Product Strategy at Monitaur

Tom Heys has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Tom began their career in 2000 as an Account Executive at Epicentric, Inc., where they opened the southern California territory for their web-based application integration platform. Tom then founded MockEasy, an EdTech startup, in 2012, where they served as the Founder and CEO. During this time, they secured partnerships and piloted a web application for practice AP exams. From 2006 to 2016, Tom worked at Vistamar School as the Humanities Department Head and Instructor, playing a key role in its growth and development. At Dispatch, where they worked from 2016 to 2017, Tom was the Product Marketing & Customer Marketing Manager, overseeing customer onboarding, training programs, and content creation. Tom then worked at Twine Health as the Head of Marketing, refining their messaging, go-to-market strategy, and managing marketing campaigns, before the company was acquired by Fitbit in 2018. At Fitbit, Tom served as a Product Marketing Manager, leading the rebranding efforts and messaging for Twine's technology across enterprise and consumer divisions. Tom then joined Crayon as their first Product Marketing Manager in 2018. In 2019, Tom joined Fincura as the Head of Marketing & Growth, aiding the company's market repositioning and generating significant sales pipeline. Currently, Tom serves as the Director of Product Strategy at Monitaur, where they own Product Management, Design, and Marketing and contributes to strategic planning and go-to-market initiatives.

Tom Heys attended Stanford University from 1992 to 1996. During their time there, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (A.B.) degree in English Literature with a focus on Creative Writing.
